The Mermaid style, also known as the fit and flare or trumpet, is becoming more and more popular in the wedding dress circle. However, this silhouette can be difficult for some brides to pull off. It has a body-hugging shape silhouette with skirt that flares out either at the knee or just below it. Do not attempt this look if you have a wider hip or waist, the wedding gown will not fit properly.
